Aloo Paratha|Super soft & easy Aloo roti

Aloo Roti Is a super soft & tasty Breakfast/dinner recipe.
It is made with Aloo/potato combined with Atta/whole wheat flour & some other spices.
Aloo roti goes well with Achar/pickle or curd.
You can pack it in your kid’s lunch box also. They will love to have it with tomato ketchup.

Ingredients:

1.Boiled potato-2 medium
2.whole wheat flour-1 & 1/2 cup
3.Finely chopped onions-2 tbsp
4.Finely Chopped coriander-2tbsp
5.Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
6.Chopped chilly-1tsp
7.Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
8.Red chilly powder-1/2 tsp
9.Cumin seeds-1 tsp
10.Carom seed-1 tsp
11.Salt as per taste
12.Oil-2tsp
13.Water as required

Method :

1.In a mixing bowl take two medium size boiled potatoes.
2.Mash it well with a fork or a potato masher.
3.Once the potato mashed well add atta/Whole wheat flour-1 & 1/2 cup.
4.To it add finely chopped onions-2tbsp,chopped coriander-2tbsp,Ginger garlic paste-1tsp,
Chopped chilly-1tsp,turmeric powder-1/4 tsp, red chilly powder-1/2 tsp, cumin seeds-1tsp,carom seeds-1tsp,
Salt as per taste & oil-2tsp.
5.Then mix everything well with hand so that if any chunks of potato left it can be mashed.
6.Then add water little by little & make a soft dough.
7.Once the dough is ready cover it & allow it rest for 5 to 7 minutes.
8.After 7 minutes divide the dough in medium size balls approx. you will get 8 to 9 balls
9.Then dust a platform & take a ball & give it round shape & then flatten it by pressing with hand.
10.Then start rolling it thin like chapati or roti.
11.Then put some oil on top & spread well
12.Then fold it from middle & again spread some oil

13.Then fold it again from middle & give it a triangle shape.
14.Now again dust some flour & roll it thin in triangle shape. The thickness should be uniform.
15.Heat a tawa & put the prepared roti & cook it for 2 minutes.
16.After 2 minutes flip it & put some oil & spread well. You can use ghee as well.
17.Cook this side again for 2 minutes, then flip & put some more oil & cook well until you get burn patches.
18.Once well cooked from both the sides take out & in the same process prepare all.
19.serve hot aloo roti with achaar or curd or any other chutney & Enjoy….
