Ingredients:
1.Murmura/Puffed rice-4 cups
2.Boiled potato-1 medium
3.Grated carrot-1/4 cup
4.Chopped onion-1/4 cup
5.Chopped green chilly-2tsp
6.Rice flour-4 tbsp
7.Besan/Gram flour-2tbsp
8.Red chilly powder-1tsp
9.Salt to taste
10.Oil for frying
Method:
1.In a big bowl take 4 cups of puffed rice, add enough water & saok it for 5 minutes.
2.In between take 1 medium size boiled potato & mash it with fork or masher & keep aside.
3.After 5 minutes squeeze the puffed rice well & take in another bowl.
4.To the soaked puffed rice add the mashed potato,1/4 cup grated carrot,1/4 cup chopped onions,1tsp chopped green chilly, 4 tbsp rice flour,2tbsp gram flour,
Red chilly powder-1tsp,salt to taste.
5.First mix everything well without water.
6.Then add little water & mix well until get a hold shape.
7.Then grease hands with little oil & take some mixture, roll it & give a cutlet shape.
8.You can give it a round shape if you want to.
9.Prepare all the cutlets & keep aside.
10.Now heat a pan & oil for shallow frying.
11.When the oil is hot add the cutlets in batches.
12.Fry one side for 3 to 4 minutes in medium flame.
13.Then flip it & fry for another 4 to5 minutes until get a crispy & golden in colour.
14.Once done take out all the cutlets & prepare all the cutlets in the same process.
15.SErve hot with any chutney or tomato ketchup & enjoy…
