Ingredients:
1.lemon zest-1tap
2.Lemon juice of 1 lemon
3.Sugar-1/2 cup
4.Thick yogurt-1/2 cup
5.Melted butter/oil-1/4 cup
6.maida/all purpose flour-1 cup
7.baking powder-1tsp
8.baking soda-1/4tsp
9.Milk-1/3 cup
10.Lemon yellow colour-4 drops
Method:
1.take 1 lemon & grate to collect lemon zest-1tsp & keep aside
2.Now cut the lemon & collect the juice & keep aside
3.Then take a mixing bowl. Add 1/2 cup sugar.1/2 cup thick yogurt,1/4 cup melted butter or oil & lemon zest-1tsp. Mix everything well.
4.Then place a sieve & add all purpose flour-1cup,baking powder-1tsp,baking soda 1/4 tsp. Strain everything well to the bowl
5.Now add the lemon juice
6.Then add milk 1/3 cup in batches & mix well so that there should not be any lumps
7.Now add 4 to 5 drops of lemon yellow colour & mix well. The batter is ready keep aside.
8.Now take a mould & grease with butter or oil & lined a baking papaer.
9.Now pour the batter to the mould & tap it well
10.Now pre heat a oven at 180 degree c for 10 minutes. After that bake it at 180 degree c for 20 to 25 minutes.
11.Now take out form oven & allow it to cool a bit
12.After it cools down clear the sides & unmould the cake
13.Remove the baking paper & cut in to desired peices & enjoy…
