Ingredients:

For Chicken Marination:
1.Chicken-500 gm
2.Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
3.Turmeric powder-1/3 tsp
4.Red chilly powder-1tsp
5.Coriander powder-1tsp
6.Cumin powder-1tsp
7.Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
8.Fried onions-2tbsp
9.Coriander leaves-1tbsp
10.Mustard oil-1tbsp
11.Dahi/Curd-2tbsp
12.Chicken masala-1.5tsp
13.Salt 1tsp

For chicken curry:
1.Mustard oil-3tbsp
2.Bayleaf-1
3.Cinnamonstick -1 small
4.Star anise-1
5.clove-5 to7
6.Cardamom-4
7.Black pepper corns-7
8.Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
9.Sliced onion-3 medium sized
10.Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
11.Tomato chopped-2 medium
12.Green chilly-5 to6
13.Ginger julliens-1tbsp
14.coriander leaves-2tbsp
15.Salt 1/2 tsp
16.Garam masala -1/2 tsp

Method:

1.In a bowl take 500 gm chicken. To it add ginger garlic paste-1tsp,salt-1tsp,turmeric powder-1/3 tsp,Red chilly powder-1tsp,Coriander powder-1tsp,Cumin powder
-1tsp,Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp,Fried onions-2tbsp,Yogurt/curd-2tbsp,Mustard oil-1tbsp,Chicken masala-1.5tsp,Coriander leaves-1tbsp.
2.Mix everything well with hands.
3.Cover & allow it rest for at least-20 mins to 30 minutes
4.Then heat a pan & add mustard oil-3tbsp. Heat it till its smoking point, then simmer the heat & add bay leaf-1,cinnamon stick-1 small,star anise-1,
cardamom-3,Cloves-4 to5,Black peppercorns-5 to7.
5.Saute them for some seconds
6.Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds & let it splutter.
7.Now add 3 onions cut into slices. Mix & keep sauteing till soft & light golden.
8.Now add ginger garlic paste -1tsp & saute till the raw smell goes.
9.Then add 2 medium sized tomato chopped, salt 1/2 tsp & mix & saute till the tomatoes soft
10.Now add the green chillies-3 to 4 cut in to halves & mix well
11.Then add the marinated chicken. Saute it for 3 to 4 minutes in high flame then put the heat to medium . Cover & saute for 25 to 30 minutes while
stir ocaasionally.
12.Then add water-1.5 cup or as per your need . Mix well Add some ginger julliens & green chillies(optional) Mix. Cover & cook for 7 to 8 minutes.
13.Now add garam masala powder-1/2 tsp,Handful of coriander leaves. Mix well & cook for another minute.
14.Now the chicken is ready. Turn off the heat & take out.
15.Serve hot with roti,paratha,naan & rice & Enjoy…
