Chicken majestic recipe – one of the popular dry chicken recipes from hyderabad, andhra pradesh served as starter.
It is a dry chicken dish marinated with buttermilk & Indian spices with an appealing look.
It is made with long thin chicken strips that are very well marinated and fried with cornflour & indian spices.Its a very tasty & must try dish.
Ingredients:
1.Boneless chicken-400 gm
2.buttermilk-1/2 cup
3.ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
4.turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
5.Red chilly powder-2tsp
6.Corn flour-1tbsp
7.salt to taste
8.Chopped garlic-5 cloves
9.Green chilly-2 nos
10.curry leaves-2tbsp
11.mint leaves-handful
12.garam masala-1/2 tsp
13.soy sauce-1tsp
14.curd-1 tbsp
15.Oil for frying
Method:
1.In a bowl add 400 gm boneless chicken add buttermilk-1/2 cup & soak for 20 to 30 minutes.
2.After 30 minutes drain the butter milk
3.Now to the marinated chicken add ginger garlic paste-1tbsp,turmeric powder-1/4 tsp,red chilly powder-1tsp,corn flour-1tbsp mix well & rest it for 20 mins.
4.Heat oil in a pan & start frying the chicken.
5.Fry the chicken until its golden & tender
6.Like this fry all the chicken strips & keep aside.
7.Now in another pan add oil-1tbsp
8.When the oil is hot add 1tsp chopped garlic & saute foe some seconds.
9.Now to it add 2 green chillies & 20 curry leaves & saute until the curry leaves turns to crispy.
10.Once the curry leaves become crispy add handful of mint leaves ,red chilly powder-1/2 tsp,garam masala-1/2 tsp & mix it in low flame.
11.Now add curd-1tbsp mix it well & cook until the curd becomes thick & all the moisture absorbed.
12.Now add soy sauce-1tsp , mix well.
13.After that add the fried chicken & give it a good mix & cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
14.Adjust the seasoning
15.Then take out & serve hot & enjoy..
