Ingredients:
1.Chicken-500 gm
2.Mint leaves-1 cup
3.Coriander leaves-1 cup
4.Green chilly-5 nos
5.Curd-1/2 cup
6.Coriander powder-1tsp
7.Cumin powder-1tsp
8.Red chilly powder-1tsp
9.Garam masala-1tsp
10.ginger garlic paste-2tbsp
11.salt to taste
12.Refined oil-2tbsp
13.Kasuri methi-1 tbsp
14.Onion-1 medium sized
Whole spices:
Bay leaf-2
cinnamon stick-3 small
cardamom-3 nos.
Method:
1.In a blender add 1 cup coriander leaves,1 cup mint leaves,Green chilly-5 nos, Curd-1/2 cup & make a fine paste out of it & keep asie.
2.Now heat a pan & add oil-2tbsp.
3.When the oil is hot add the whole spices ( bay leaf-2,cinnamon stick-2 small,cardamom-3 nos ) & saute for 1 minute.
4.Then add sliced onion-1/2 cup & saute until it becomes pink.
5.Then add chicken -500 gm & saute for 10 minutes in high flame.
6.After that add ginger garlic paste-2tbsp & keep sauteing until the raw smell goes.
7.Now add coriander powder-1tsp,red chilly powder-1tsp,cumin powder-1tsp & garam masala-1tsp.Mix it well & let the spices to cook well & oil releases.
8.Now add the green paste prepared earlier & give it a good mix
9.Now add salt to taste & mix well
10.Then cover it cook well for 10 to 12 minutes while stir in between.
11.Once the chicken is done add kasuri methi-1tbsp & mix well & cook for 2 more minutes.
12.Now the chicken is done.Turn off the heat & serve hot & enjoy..
