Ingredients:
1.maida/plain flour-1 cup
2.Besan/Gram flour-1/2 cup
3.Semolina/sooji-2 tbsp
4.Baking powder-1tsp
5.powdered sugar-1 cup
6.Salt-1/4tsp
7.Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
8.Ghee/melted butter-3tbsp
9.Chopped nuts-2tbsp
Method:
1.In a mixing bowl place a seive & add plain flour/maida-1cup,besan/gram flour-1/2 cup,semolina/sooji-2tbsp Baking powder-1tsp & strain.
2.Again in the seive add powdered sugar 3/4 cup to 1 cup & strain.
3.Add salt 1/4 tsp & mix everything well.
4.Add cardamom/elaichi powder -1/4 tsp & mix well.
5.Now add ghee/melted butter-3tbsp, mix & knead to a soft dough.
6.Add take roughly chopped nuts-2tbsp & keep aside
7.Now take a baking tray lined with baking paper & grease with butter/ghee.
8.After that to prepare nankhatai biscuit take a small portion of dough in greased palms, roll to give a shape of small ball.
9.Like this preapare all nankhatai balls & place in the tray.
10.After that press the balls a little in the middle with a finger & then add some chopped nuts & gently press.
11.Like this preapare all the biscuits
12.Now pre heat a oven at 170 degree for 10 minutes.
13.After that bake the biscuits in 170 degree centigrade for 18 to 20 minutes & they are ready.
